CAN I VIBECODE

Tactiq?

YESA focused first version is a sensible AI-assisted build. Keep the first release narrow and polish the workflow people repeat.

BUILD FIRST

  1. One defined user and a repeatable end-to-end job
  2. A small, clear data model with sign-in only if it is genuinely needed
  3. Loading, empty, error, and success states that make the workflow feel complete

LEAVE FOR LATER

  1. Large integration marketplaces
  2. Multi-region scale and enterprise administration
  3. Every power-user setting from the established product

RESEARCH NOTES

What this tool actually does.

Checked 2026-09-06

Tactiq is a browser-based AI meeting assistant that works with Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. It generates real-time transcripts without a bot joining the call, with speaker identification in 60+ languages. Live transcript features include search, screenshots, tags/labels, speaker-participation stats, and PDF/TXT export. Post-meeting, it produces one-click summaries, action items, follow-up emails, and answers custom AI questions about the transcript; custom questions can be saved as reusable prompts. It can create Jira/Linear tickets and project updates, and integrates with Slack, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, and more via workflow automations. Transcripts and summaries can be shared by email or shareable links. It markets itself as a bot-free, non-intrusive alternative to AI bots that join calls.

RESEARCHED BUILD PROMPT

Give this to your coding agent.

Build 'MeetingScriber,' a web app that replicates the core Tactiq workflow: a user starts a meeting on Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams, and a companion browser-extension overlay captures live audio, transcribes in real time with speaker labels, and streams the transcript into a side panel. After the meeting, the user can generate an AI summary, action items, a follow-up email, and ask free-form questions about the transcript; custom questions can be saved as reusable prompts. Requirements: (1) live transcription using a streaming Speech-to-Text API (e.g., Deepgram or OpenAI Whisper API) with diarization; (2) real-time transcript UI with search, tags, screenshots, and download to PDF/TXT; (3) AI summarization and Q&A via an LLM API with prompt templates; (4) integrations to export to Notion, Slack, Linear, and Jira, plus shareable transcript links; (5) OAuth login, meeting history, and per-workspace settings. Use React/TypeScript for the UI, a Node.js or Python backend, and WebSocket for streaming. Do not copy Tactiq's brand, logo, copy, or visual design; use an original layout. Out of scope: mobile apps, calendar scheduling, and real-time collaborative editing on transcripts. Include a README with setup steps, API keys, and known limitations (diarization accuracy, language support, browser autoplay policies).
